Pokémon White Version Wedlocke Lite Part 15: The Pre-Elite Four Grind!

Hey guys! When last you left me I had just lost poor Honeydew, and I was trying to come up with a replacement. I did, but I'm not going to reveal who it is just yet because I had yet another tragedy to attend to.

I had almost reached the end of Victory Road when I had to face a trainer's Gigalith. I sent out Cornbread, thinking I would have an easy enough time with an offensive type advantage. But what I hadn't realized was that this Gigalith knew Earthquake. I watched, in near agony, as Cornbread's HP rushed to zero. No, Cornbread!!! You were one of my favorites.

In my rush to a Pokémon Center, I forgot to continue using Max Repel, so I ran into my encounter for Victory Road, a Boldore. I hadn't even given Cornbread a proper goodbye yet. Too soon... Anyway, I gave her the oh-so-creative name of "Pop Rocks".

Back at the Pokémon Center, I gave Cornbread his burial. Goodbye, Cornbread. You were really a great member of the team, and I feel responsible for your loss. I'm going to miss you, but at least you get to be with your old partners Peach and Honeydew.

Well, looks like I have to make yet another replacement. I have some interesting males to choose from, but I'm going to have my work cut out for me getting two new Pokémon caught up with the rest of my team and ready for the Elite Four and Team Plasma.

As I post this, I am already almost done training up my team, but I'm going to keep my two replacements a secret for now. I'll reveal them in my next update, which is also when I'm going to take on the Elite Four! See you next time!
